In the classroom




Been back in the classroom and it is going great! What a wonderful school, and amazing little artists. Here are some of the things we've been doing...

3rd grade, Luggage tags with blOck lettering, concentric designs and shading. 
And radial symmetry/ name designs for 4th grade. 

We are having so much fun!

Brimfield at the beginning of the month.

Had an awesome time at the Brimfield market this season. I am always surprised at how many awesome things are there. Also had great fun with great friends Ye old Sturbridge Village.

Looking forward to fall!

Fall is my favorite season, and it seems like the signs are everywhere. School is in full swing. The weather is cold and sunny, love that. And our delivery of wood came in, looks like we are ready.....

OP Art lesson and Info 

Op art, also known as optical art, is a style[1] of visual art that makes use of optical illusions.
"Optical art is a method of painting concerning the interaction between illusion and picture plane, between understanding and seeing."[2] Op art works are abstract, with many of the better known pieces made in black and white. When the viewer looks at them, the impression is given of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibration, patterns, or alternatively, of swelling or warping.

Almost Massachusetts, a July 4th on the CT border

Almost in MA. For the 4th. Took a ride to the north west of CT. Neat old town, Canaan Ct
