Went on a mini break vacation at the end of July to the Berkshires Massachusetts. Very pretty place. Very like home too :) .
I needed a place to store all these crazy ideas that I have, so that I can try to remember them, and so my head doesn't explode. So this blog is a mishmash of all the things going on in the studio, flat, voluminous, lyrical, and beautiful. To me anyway.......

OP Art lesson and Info
"Optical art is a method of painting concerning the interaction between illusion and picture plane, between understanding and seeing."[2] Op art works are abstract, with many of the better known pieces made in black and white. When the viewer looks at them, the impression is given of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibration, patterns, or alternatively, of swelling or warping.
