Here is a drawing for the second of my postcard paintings. I figured I'd try painting some recognizable places that I've been to as postcard paintings, all small.

Countertops

Tom's working on the countertop over at T. Duggan woodworking h.q. today. I think they look awesome so far! He made them from some thick hickory boards that he recently sourced out of NY state. I can't wait till they're in! He has been working so hard!!

This is from a photo I took a million years ago, but since I'm stuck indoors I can use my memory to travel some and create some work while I'm at it. Drawing for the Champs-Élysées and photo taken there in 2002-

10 birds done.

Finished these 10 birds out of fabric and wire. Now I just have to find a branch to put them on.....

Progress on the kitchen this weekend...

The hubby made serious progress on the kitchen reno this weekend thanks to all the help we got (thanks Freddie). Cabinets are pretty much installed. Looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Been looking at these two shops lately

Being cooped up in this house lately has started me thinking about all of the places that I would like to visit once I am let out again. I'm not sure how appropriate it would be to bring baby but I would love to go to these two shops and meet the artists with the little family once I can take a field trip again. They look so cool!

A wall for baby

I started this wall in the nursery about a month ago by just taping off the trees. It's so nice to have help! This is where all of the help has taken it. Pretty cool I think.
